Remedies for Warts & Skin Tags?

by Ken Macdonald
(South Korea)

Hi, are there any Chinese remedies for warts? How about skin tags? (Little lumps of skin)? Thanks, Keep up the good work with the site, Ken

Matthew's reply: Hi Ken, thanks for your email and sorry for this late response. Yes, there are Chinese herbal remedies for warts, i.e. ointments that you simply apply to each wart until they disappear. There are also plasters that you stick over the warts. This method involves soaking the affected area in warm water to soften the skin, then drying the skin and applying a plaster. Each plaster is left on for about 3 days, then new ones applied until the wart has gone. These plasters are good for warts, corns and callouses. Skin tags, I'm not sure. As you are in South Korea I would visit a herbal shop to see what they have there. Traditional Chinese and traditional Korean medicine are very similar.

All the best,

Matthew
